Step 1 (join discord)
Click both of the link below to join our 2 Discord servers. Make sure you stay active and keep notifications turned on. Kairos is out team chat, and the other one is the whole agency discord where we post sales.
We often share important updates there and expect all agents to stay up to date with messages.
Our culture is built on lifting each other up and offering support. When someone posts a sale, drop a reaction on their post, we’ll do the same for you!
We have team meetings at 9 AM and 3 PM EST. Make sure you are attending every one of those for your first 60 days. Our 9 AM meeting is help on discord in the prosperity partners room, while the 3 PM call is agency wide so that is help on zoom, the link is below.
We also have a once a week call at 11 AM EST as a team. Please mark these in your calendar and bookmark the links below as they will be the same link every time. Until you are consistently writing $20,000 a month in business you should not miss any of these calls.
Step 2 (training)
Step 3 (log into carrier portals)
Keep a very close eye on your emails after submitting contracts. As the carriers approve you they will send you emails to complete registration. You will receive Chubb immediately, the rest will come over the next week or two. Look out for Transamerica, Ethos, American Amicable, Americo, Mutual of Omaha, Aetna, and Ladder.
If it has been more than 2 weeks and you are still missing carriers from this list, reach out to Allie to make sure you have not missed anything.
As the carrier approvals come in, make sure to bookmark their portals homepage and ensure you can log in to them. After you log in make sure you know where to navigate to to start an application.
Step 4 (set up CRM & Dialer)
Set up Onyx CRM & Wavv Dialer using the links below.
Onyx is the CRM and has a built in dialer, it is required to be able to work, Wavv is a better dialer that is an add on, it is not technically needed but has a lot of features that is well worth the additional cost and will more than pay for itself by helping you get additional sales. It comes with a 2 week trial for you to test it out first. After you set up Onyx and Wavv you will be able to schedule an onboarding call with them to get an in depth tutorial on how to use everything.
Make sure you chat with your direct manager before buying your first leads.
What leads you start with will depend on your skill and you goals. Get with your manager and you’ll come up with a detailed game plan to ensure your success!
Step 5 (get leads & dial)
This career is not complicated. We have a simple roadmap to make over $100,000-$200,000 your first year. You just have to follow the blueprint.
Those that try to cut corners and skip the hard work do not make it.
300 dials a day, 5 presentations, or 2 sales. You should be hitting one of those 3 metrics every day, 5 days a week, for your first 90 days. This will help you overcome the learning curve as fast as possible.
It is your responsibility to study and learn underwriting and the products as much as possible, however when you are first getting started you can utilize insurance toolkits to help you know what carrier to place clients with.
