Step 1 (join discord)

This is our main agency discord server, prosperity partners. We post our sales here, host team meetings, have important announcements, and have our virtual office in the dialing rooms.
This is our secondary server, this one is mainly used just as a team chat for our team kairos, which is a part of prosperity partners. If you’re reading this, that’s the team your on. But we all work together!
Step 2 (book exam)
Schedule your state exam and start studying. Allie should have reached out already with instructions on how to schedule your exam and start the course. If you have any questions you can reach her at 719-631-3683. Remember, you need to schedule your exam before you gain access to the course. As soon as you pass the exam message Allie to let her know.
While you are studying for the exam make sure you attend our weekly team call every Monday at 1:00pm EST. The zoom link is below. Please add this to you calendar and bookmark this link. You do not need to attend our other team meetings, as those are only for licensed agents. However, we want all agents, even those studying to be on our Monday calls.
Step 3 (attend weekly calls)
Step 5 (fingerprints and license application)
Let Allie know you passed your exam and she will send you details on how to get fingerprinted and file with the state for your license. It usually takes 7-10 days for your license and NPN to come in.
Once you have your license and NPN you need to do contracting with the insurance carriers. Again let Allie know you have your license and NPN and she will email you instructions. It takes another 7-10 days for you contracts to come back so please submit for your contracts the same day you get your NPN if possible to avoid any delays.

Step 4 (sales training)
Once you have passed your exam you can switch gears into sales and product training. There are 3 main things you need to do for your sales training. While you are waiting for your license and contracts to come in you will spend that time focused on sales training and product and underwriting knowledge. Do not waste this time. The goal is to be ready to go as soon as those contracts come in.

Start learning the products and underwriting. Use the underwriting guide as a starting resource for this.
Step 7 (log into carrier portals)
Once you have the contracts for Mutual of Omaha or Americo, Transamerica, Chubb, and Ethos you have enough to cover every type of client. You’ll have a couple more come in still but that is enough to get rolling. Keep a very close eye on your emails and check spam daily. They will only email you your writing number then it is up to you to log onto their portal and set up your account. Once you have those carriers and have confirmed you can log onto their portals you area ready to start dialing.

This career is not complicated. We have a simple roadmap to make over $100,000-$200,000 your first year. You just have to follow the blueprint.
Those that try to cut corners and skip the hard work do not make it.
300 dials a day, 5 presentations, or 2 sales. You should be hitting one of those 3 metrics every day, 5 days a week, for your first 90 days. This will help you overcome the learning curve as fast as possible.
It is your responsibility to study and learn underwriting and the products as much as possible, however when you are first getting started you can utilize insurance toolkits to help you know what carrier to place clients with. Both the underwriting guide and insurance toolkits login are on the agent resources page.

Step 9 (buy leads & dial)
Make sure you chat with your direct manager before buying your first lead list. What leads you start with will depend on your skill and you goals. Get with your manager and you’ll come up with a detailed game plan to ensure your success!
